JJ's Hideaway is a fabulous South Beach cottage which would be an ideal spot for your next family vacation. The Hideaway offers the perfect combination of sky and sea. Perched on a bluff in lower Killegray Ridge, this home is situated high enough to catch cooling ocean breezes and provide great views of the dunes of Killegray and Flora's Bluff, and the spectacular Atlantic.
But the beach is still very close at hand, because a private neighborhood boardwalk is right across the street, offering easy access to the beach after a leisurely 2 minute stroll. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen adjoining a large living and dining room that will easily accommodate the entire family. The living area extends out to a large covered front porch great for observation, conversation, and relaxation.
The picnic table located on the additional back deck offers a great place for families to dine. Next to the kitchen is a bedroom suite with a queen bed and one set of bunks, a full bath and front porch. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a king, full bath, and a porch featuring sweeping views of the ocean, including even some glimpses of legendary Frying Pan Shoals.
Down the hall is another bedroom including a queen, a set of bunks, and a full bath. Across the back deck from the main house, next to the outdoor shower and picnic table, sits the crofter, which has a king bed and full bath. Sleeps 12 (max.). 4 bedrooms (1K-1K-1Q,1BB-1Q,BB). 4 full baths. 1 half bath. (1) 4 passenger cart. (1) 6 passenger cart.
